Family Ties

Being back in Utah means lots of family activities, and we love it! Its so nice being able to be so close to everyone. We are still homeless, and are grateful for those who take us in, especially Brett and Connie who have let us move in until our house is finished. We spent last week with them in West Point, and checked on the house everyday. It looks beautiful, and should be move-in ready next week. Truman has a best friend to play with all the time, Pete, which makes not only him happy, but us as well. (This is Jared, don't forget about my dad, I think he and Truman are very good friends too!) Later this week, we headed up to Paradise. Katie had a bridal shower, and it was good ol' Trout and Berry Days.

This year was especially exciting. Grandma Marge was the Grand Marshall. Check her out on her four-wheeler as she leads the parade. She just makes me smile. She has more spunk and energy than I ever will!

Stacie and I got Katie a "special little number" which she just loved! You can tell by the blushed cheeks that she was very excited:)

My cousin Michelle made it up all the way from Vernal with her 3 kids by HERSELF! Man, I hate riding with screaming Graham in the car, let alone with 2 more! I learned I need to invest in some great earphones..which apparantly makes the ride much better.

Graham gave Lish a kiss right on the mouth when he saw her, open mouth in fact. Thanks for taking the slob Lish:)

I found this idea of a "milk and cookies" party while blog surfing and loved it! Ashley made it come to life, and went to a lot of work. I thought it turned out so cute, and everyone loved it.

We made it to Gateway for a little shopping trip, and dinner with Stace. Graham loved the water fountains, and I loved watching the two boys in my life.

Grandma Connie teaching Graham how delicious corn on the cob can be. He loved this, and gobbled on it for quite a while. So cute!

Here she is, the bride to be, in all her glory. We took her out for a little bachelorette dinner. She is getting married on the 10th! I can't believe it, and am so excited for her. I still think she is forever 17.
