4 months

Heres my sweet little girl. She's already four months old!! I truly cannot believe it, and wish somehow time could slow down. She has lost most of her hair now except for the lovely mullet look she's got going on in the back. Its growing back dark, and I don't think she will loose too much more. We call her "baldo" right now. She is melting my heart. She smiles all the time, is "talking" and telling us stories, and she loves her play mat. I love how she opens up her mouth when you kiss her cheek or nuzzle her neck, she acts likes she is going to eat you up. Jared can find her tickle spot on her belly and make her laugh really hard. We all laugh when she laughs. She brightens our home, and is so special. Its funny how you keep falling more and more in love with your kids. I love just watching her. She wants to roll over, and really doesn't mind tummy time too much. She kicks off her blankets and takes a bink pretty good. She LOVES baths, and really isn't too fussy unless she gets too tired. She is still a spitter, but its improving. She prefers nursery songs as to crazy cricket noises from the mobile or swing. She is a good girl at church. Graham is not. She sleeps in her crib, and is a pretty good sleeper(gets up just once most of the time). She likes to have her eye on Graham, and will laugh at him often.
Its funny with the first kid you don't know any better or different. Its been fun seeing the differences between the two. Graham calls her his little little still, and Charles. He loves her so much he smothers her, and sometimes tries to get a little too close, or ALL the time one of the two. I love how he will lay under her mat with her, and say they are just laying or playing.
Charlie, you are my sweetest little girl and you have us all wrapped around your little finger:)

Hungry Tractor

I found Grahams afternoon snack like this the other day. For some reason I didn't just eat the rest and clean up. I smiled and decided to take a permanant memory of something sweet from my little boy. Scoop, Scoop, Scoop.

Charlie's Special Day

We blessed Charlie Jessie Sunday, Feb 5th. It was so special. This time around, it seems as though I can relax a bit more and not worry about the little stuff quite as much. It was an absolutely beautiful blessing. Jared does such a great job, and I felt such peace, comfort, and pride knowing what a great father Charlie has to look up to. Seeing, hearing, and feeling the power of the priesthood is so overwhelming. She looked like an angel. We blessed her in the same dress I was blessed in. It was just right. She had just a splash of color with her pink sock/shoe booties(I saw them and HAD to have them). Afterward, we had everyone over for breakfast and enjoyed a great time. My mom and dad surprised us the night before and slept over!! Big deal for my dad to get out of Paradise:) It was so fun having them here, Graham wouldn't leave "Vickies" side. Katie cracked 120 eggs, and we had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and french toast. Thanks everyone for coming and for all your help!
Aunt Stacie's birthday was two days later, so we got her a cupcake and everyone sang.
Cutest pregnant lady ever! Rachel, my cousin Fred's wife.
Everyone kept teasing the newlyweds about how natural they looked as parents.
Cousin Brittany and Cambrielle.
This is the "Jessie" that Charlies middle name comes from
Papa was busy cooking, and Papi and Connies pic is on my mom's phone.

When I look through these pictures I honestly feel like the luckiest mama and wife alive.

Our little Graham fish

Grahams new favorite thing, the pool. The last few weeks we have been going to the aquatic center, and he loves it! I took him over a year ago to test it out, and it wasn't his forte, but he has transformed into a fish. I love watching him love it. He and Jared have such a great time together. He loves the huge slide, and they count the stairs on the way up. There are 24 steps. He runs around and splashes the puddles with his feet, and tries to play with the other kids. I love when he waves and yells, "HI MAMA"! Looking forward to swimming lessons!

Oh Charles

We call Charlie Charles sometimes just to be funny. It is just Charles and I tonight for an hour or so. Jared and Graham are at a basketball game, and I am being entertained by Charlie. I keep thinking Oh Charles in my head, you are so sweet. She is laying under her little play mat wiggling and kicking around. It is amazing to watch her change and learn. She is growing up so fast, and things are coming and going too fast! I've been tired all day because our household is sick and we don't sleep at night. I just wanted to remember this moment of contentment watching my sweet little daughter. She is so special, and I appreciate these moments when I can slow down and just watch. I love you so much Charles.
