Charlie turns 1!

What a beautiful little girl we have! This year has seemed to have flown by especially fast, too fast! I am one of those old ladies I would hear growing up saying, " kids just grow up so fast". They do! It seems not that long ago when we were frantically checking on you in the nicu. We thought you were so tiny, sweet, and strong. You had lots of dark hair, and were absolutely beautiful! I remember how happy I was to have a girl to be my best friend forever! It's amazing how you instantly fit with our family, and how it does seem like you've always been a part of us. Graham loves you so much! Your dad and I are smitten with you, and feel so blessed to be yours:) we love you little little, happy birthday!

Today we went swimming, played outside in the gorgeous weather, and went to dinner. We had your birthday party a few weeks early hoping to have it outside on the patio, only to be rained out that day. Today would've been perfect. You are showing your personality more and more sis. You certainly have an opinion, and voice it when necessary! I think you might beat up on graham as soon as you get a little older. You are a pretty great snuggler. Better than graham was. You love your babies and Grahams toys too. You love sausage for breakfast, grapes, macaroni, goldfish, milk..you are pickier than graham was with your food. You love to dance when you hear music and have 8 teeth that have popped through. Your smile is adorable. Your dimple win everyone over! We Hope you know how special you are, and how much you are loved.

Pink series park city

Everyone I know has jumped on the running band wagon. I have been so resistant for so long, because honestly I'm just not a great runner. I Love working out, but running is definitely toward the bottom of my list for workouts I would choose. Katie talked me into the pink series 5k in park city. I told her no way on the half:) but I had a great time!! I was happy with my time, and will totally do it again next year. I loved running for pink and breast cancer awareness. I will say I'm not going to do any halfs or full marathons, but for a good cause, and with great people..I could be talked into a 5k again:)
It was a little chilly, thanks sweety for coming and bringing the kids:) we had 7 family members run.

Charlie

This little girl took his first step today. She then later took another. This is also her new face she likes to pull. She has really changed, and grown up a lot these last few weeks. She is full of energy and generally happy most of the time. She loves to craw under our little side table, and plays with graham in his room a lot. Graham is pretty good with her, but does like to bug her on occasion:) she will let you know when she is hungry! Her toothy little grin gets us every time!
