Graham's first acting gig

Christmas eve at my Grandma's house, we had a little Nativity. My cousin Jenny made the most adorable costumes I've ever seen. I didn't think Graham would be too interested, but he was a ham! He just stuck around while Holden read the story, and played with "baby jesus" for a little bit. He pushed the manger box around a bit, and kept smiling at people smiling at him. Jared took this with his phone, but I just had to post them, so I have them for a later memory. I almost teared up watching him(yes I have the crying disease, passed down from my mother) I think he was the sweetest and cutest shepherd in the world!

Unforgetable Christmas 2010

This Christmas post is full of pictures, and there is even a few more to come. Its so hard, when you have so many. I've narrowed it down quite a bit. We had such a great Christmas. We spent it up in Paradise at my Mom and Dad's. Christmas eve we had the usual party at Grandma Marge's. We had great food, the cutest nativity, and some unforgetable activites. I've got some pics of Graham as a shephed that I need to get off of Jared's phone to post. It was so nice to have everyone there, something about a full house at Grandma's. Graham had the best time. He was soaking up all the energy, and moving non-stop. We went home and did our traditional Christmas eve traditions, and finally got him to bed around 11!!! Graham had a hard time sleeping at Grandma's and slept with us:) Made me realize that we really need a king sized bed. Then next morning was so fun. Everyone but B's family was there, and we had a lot more presents to open than we had expected. One of my favorite gifts was a camp chef from my mom and dad. SO excited to use this baby this spring, summer, and fall! Thanks so much mom and dad for spoiling us. We ate our Grandma Jackie ham and egg caserole and headed off the Grandma Marge's. We opened gifts and had a great time. B got there later in the afternoon, and we all had a great evening together. Thanks to all of my family for making us feel so loved and blessed!

I think this pictures is so great. The jersey is over Grahams pajamas and captures just a little bit of Christmas morning.

Trudolph and his Santa

I think I might have loved this jersey more than Graham. Lets be clear...I'm not a Heat fan, but a LeBron fan. I wish it was in my size. Thanks KC, Jes, Liv and Gabio!

This woman LOVES Christmas, and starts preparing as soon as it ends. She plans out everything, and she sure makes the day feel special. It's SO great being able to be with family, especially during the holidays. Graham is loving it as much as me:)

This was a special present from Papa and Grandma Vickie. At first Graham did not like this horse. He cried and didn't want to be anywhere near it. After a little warming up, he LOVES it! He will put both arms straight out in front of him and say," heeeee" and run to it. He just might be a real cowboy for how much he loves horses.

This boy sure loves his Grandma Marge. Grandma comes up every Christmas morning to check out the gifts, and timed this morning just right. She got to see Graham open just about all of his gifts. This woman wrote the book on how to be the best grandma ever!

I think this picture is very cute of the newly weds. Welcome to the family Jordan, here is your gun. Thats what Katie got him. Jared played River's new Wii hunting game...thats as close to hunting as he will ever get.

It was a shoe year for all of us. Jared, Graham, and I all got awesome shoes! I think mine look especially hot with pjs:) Grandma Marge was quite impressed with Jareds shoes, wondered if they had them in her size.

My dad is one happy camper with his new sheets. Who wouldn't be with 800 plus thread count?! Now combine those sheets with his down pillow and you've got a bed I'd never want to get out of. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

This picture makes me happy..

Everyone got muffs or saucers as one of my mom's signature funny gifts. We look forward to seeing what next year's funny gift will be.

Pre-Christmas with the Moultries

So this year we had an early Christmas with Jareds mom and dad. They were heading off on a cruise over Christmas, so we celebrated the Wednesday before Christmas. We had a great night. We had dinner and opened gifts. We all got Nike stuff of course. Thanks Grandma and Papi!

December Memories

Yup, I'm pretty proud of these bad boys. I even tried to take food-blog like pictures of them. I've been taking them to every party basically this season. They are so cute and festive. Not to mention SOOOO good. I told Jared last night that these are even worth the calories:)
Jared's old mission buddy was in town, and stopped by for a visit. We really wish they lived closer. Quinn and Graham play so good together. The Jensens are back in Michigan trying to get through Dental school so they can come back to Utah to be with us:)
Here she is, in all her glory. I liked how she turned out. Of course there could always be a few more decorations, but Jared has to reign me in during Christmas..I get this problem from my mom, and grandma.

These are a few pics I found and wanted to post. The month has been so busy, and is flying by. We are enjoying the festivities, and trying to take in all the Christmas season has to offer. It really is great being so close to so much family . Papa and Grahamio at the Christmas Baldwin party. Graham loves his Papa, and even like Santa just a little bit better than Santa at the mall:) He is still not a fan though.

Aunt Kathy was in town a few weeks ago, and we got to see her. She is a favorite for sure, and we wish we could see her more often. Graham loved her right up, and we wished we could've had more time with her. We love you Aunt Kathy!
These are Grahams best Wyoming friends. The Eyers came to visit, and I can't believe I don't have better pictures. These three got along so well, and we LOVED their visit!

For as long as I can remember we have met at Grandma Marges early December for Candy Day. My mom, aunt, and the kids( as soon as you are in 6th grade,) get together for a fun, busy, at times, silly day. Candy day this year was actually candy..couple of days. It seems like it gets bigger and bigger each year. This is a pic from my phone of the whole crew. I have no idea how much candy we make, but this year we used 30 lbs of chocolate! Its another one of the traditions that I really enjoy and hope to carry on and on.

Take 5..or 30

O my little Grahamio. You had a hard time falling to sleep tonight. Even though it didn't make your mother very happy at first, or after the 3rd time trying to put you down.. you snuggled her up so sweetly that it made her forget that she was frustrated. You two just sat and watched to Christmas tree lights in silence. It was a wonderful, quiet 3o minutes. She hummed Christmas songs(because she really doesn't like the sound of her singing voice), and you sucked your little thumb. It was a moment that reminded her to slow down, and that moments are to be captured and treasured.

Thanks Graham, I love you.

I realize I'm speaking in 3rd person, and that I also sound like a greeting card..guess thats just me:)

Christmas Traditions

Who doesn't love the lights at Temple Square this time of year? It has been one of my favorite things to do for as long as I can remember. Having said that, we had some of our great friends visit us from Cheyenne this past weekend, and I was SO excited to take them to see the lights. We headed out early to do a little shopping before hand, and planned on hitting the lights on our way home. To make a long story short, the lights do not come on before 5:30. Not one second earlier,EVEN if its dark!!! Needless to say, we were a little soggy and tired by the time we got home. We did see the lights, and had a great time in between as well. Its so great knowing that you can go to a place and instantly feel the spirit. I'm excited for the years to come, and the Christmas traditions we can continue to carry on.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Here's our little lumberjack. Just so happened he had this outfit the day we put up the tree, hilarious! I insist on a real tree even though its a little extra work involved. Well, maybe a lot for my dad or brother who cut them down:) I think we lucked out, and got the best of the bunch this year. Thanks for cutting it down B. Graham and Truman were freaking out with the foreign object in our house.

Happy Heart

Graham has been so much fun the past couple of days. He is feeling better, and has a lot more energy. He has been laughing and jabbering non-stop. Today he decided he would get the cereal out of the pantry, and pour himself a bowl...on the floor. I was making bananna bread and thought I'd just let him have a good time, and clean up the mess later. He continued to get down on all fours and eat each piece of cereal like a dog would eat his food. I could not stop laughing, and was trying to get a pic. Both my phone and camera were out of batteries(of course). He giggled and banged on some bowls and continued to grab a few pieces on his walk back and forth from me to the fridge.
He is getting really quick. His balance improves everyday, and he walks faster and faster. He looks SO cute all bundled up in his marshmellow coat and hat when we go out. He was giving out open mouth slob kisses to both Jared and I this morning. LOVE THOSE!
Jared was showering with him tonight, and Christmas music was on in the background. I was cleaning up some things, and we both said how these were the times/memories we would cherish and look back on. Graham, you are such a sweet boy. I LOVE hanging out with you all day(even on the days when you aren't so fun). I'm grateful for your curiosity and determination. I hope you always keep those traits with you. You are 13 months old today, and are adored by your mama and da da. You say da da throughout the day. Sometimes you even call me da da. You can always make me smile, and I love when you hand me things as if saying."here you go mom". You are a thumbsucker, and I think its very cute(hopefully you aren't doing it when you are in kindergarten though:)).
Jared and I got to go to the forgotten carols last night up in Logan. It was great, as usual. Its so nice to spend some alone time together once in awhile. I have one wonderful, supportive, loving, handsome husband. Thanks for coming sweet, I sure love you. Graham stayed with Papa, and did pretty good. Im still trying to wean myself from Graham..I accept my pathetic-ness:) Although it has been 4 days without any nursing, yay for me. It was only really hard the second night. We are both growing up.
My heart is pretty happy tonight as I look at our beautiful Christmas tree, love the lights! Its like a campfire, totally addicting. I haven't taken any pics really, so here are a couple of sweet ones from Grahams one year shoot. I'm happy to be a mama and wife.
