12 weeks old!

Here is the latest, greatest, and chubbiest of Graham. He is so chubbo, and long too! We measured him today, and he came in at a whopping 24 in! Our scale isnt really realiable but it read about 14 lbs. He has been such a good boy lately, even though if he is tired, just forget about it..fussy to say the least.

Ive been getting into the blogging world a little more lately. I'm excited to make a book after a year of posts to have as a scrapbook/log of our lives. I also have found these great new blogs and ideas from stay at home moms like me. Its nice to be learning new things, and learning how to use my time differently..still not gonna get too crafty lets be honest, but there are some things I'm excited to try.
My mom said he could be a model..I told her his birthmark on his head made him original and unique too...she said yeah like Cindy Crawford:)

Thanks to Jess and KC for the bumbo..its purple because the girls had it prior, but we think it is just great, and so far Graham has liked it.

Happy twelve weeks old buddy! You are sure getting to be a big boy! This picture makes you look like such a little boy. I can't believe how fast you are changing, and how wonderful you are. I don't know of anything better in the world than when you give me a big jack o lattern smile..I smile right back at you filled with pure happiness. I love spending all day with you, and feel very very blessed to be able to. You really like looking at lights right now, and are enjoying the play yard. Bath time with dad is still your favorite, and you smile when you splash your chubby little arms. You slept through the night for the first time this week, only once but hey at least once right?

We are working on your rolling over skills, they are coming along. You also can reach up and touch things with your hands...sometimes.

Everyone always tells your dad and I how cute and chubby you are. People love your cheeks, and say that you are so beautiful. I completely agree and think that you are the most precious little boy ever. You also like taking rides with mom in the car, and have been a better boy at church. You go to priesthood with Dad, and have been good for him two weeks in a row!

In your room there is a quote on the wall by Walt Whitman that reads.....

A child went forth and became what he saw.

I hope to, and will strive to show you all the wonderful things in the world my little boy. I want you to learn about and know your Heavenly Father and big brother Jesus Christ. I hope for you a stong, unwaivable testimoney of the Gospel. I want you to always know how much your Dad and I love you, and how we only want the very best for you. I want to only show you good examples through my actions, and will try my very best for you everyday. I will try to teach examples of service, patience, and understanding. This quote is a reminder for us that you are always watching. You are such a special spirit Graham, and I hope you know that we will do our best to treat you as such. I want to be your best friend forever, even when you're a teenager:)

Love you,
Mom

Mario Time

Wii Mario has infiltrated our lives. The songs are in my head, my husband dreams about new strategies to take over the castles, and ways that he can find all 3 big gold coins. It really is a great game, one that I will actually play with him...and I feel myself being pulled in to the luigi mayhem. I take the co-pilot seat and we head through the crazy worlds of mario-land.

We can get quite wrapped up in this game. We cuss at the screen, at the dumb little flying turtles, and I HATE HATE HATE the purple fish in the horrible water land! I will literally bang the remote down on the couch when I make a stupid move. Jared has conquered the game, and now is perfecting his game tactics. He is pretty good i must admit..he and Mario spend plenty of quality time together when I go to bed. He is sort of like my coach guiding me through the desert, fire castles, and the bullet-boat. I love following my Mario(except when he jumps on my head).

Its a fun way to do something together besides just watching TV. The graphics are awesome, and it is just like the original...only with a huge upgrade. If anyone needs any special hints or secret ways to get lives, contact Jared he is the master. I think the musical score of old school video games actually helps Graham sleep longer:)
I thought I better post about what weve been doing..and Mario is it.

Who needs a neck when you have three chins..

Well this little guy started out at 6lb 10oz, but you would never guess it by the plump chubbo now. It seems like he has almost skipped a clothing size completely. We love his little rolls and belly. We rub it for good luck sometimes (not really). Although we do have to peel back the rolls under his chin so we can wash his neck. Just needed a little more room after lunch
Love my bath time with dad

I mean really, could I be any cuter???

I do realize that the majority of my posts are all about Graham, but that is my world now..and until I figure out that there are other things going on, it will probably continue:)
Jared and I are doing great. The weather in Cheyenne is better than Utah right now and we have been enjoying spring like temps. Jared went to Phoenix this past week for work, and now would love to move there. He loves big cities and any place that is warm. Im embracing motherhood and attending storytime at the library, and playgroup at the church. Graham sleeps through them, but Im sure he loves them.
Graham is making the cutest little noises and smiling more than ever. I can't believe how much he changes every day. He really isn't too fond of "tummy time" but im sure he is advanced in every other area..I mean look at his parents:)

So good to be back

(this picture is not of me of course)
This post is to announce my return to the gym. Yay!! Oh how I have missed the smell of the rubber floor and metal plates. I know, I know some people may think im crazy, but I know there are some of you who completely understand my obsession. My muscles are screaming thank you, thank you..and my endorphins are so glad to be back. I told my mom the other day that it was heavenly to be back, and she told me that it was heavenly to not be going(she hates working out). I had a great first week back, and honestly feel much better, and have more energy. I am however, very out of shape and have a LONG way to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy shape. Ive been taking it kinda slow, and have no ab muscles whatsoever. The gym has spinning classes that I think im gonna hit up, but still have to work it in to grahams schedual.

So see ya later excess fat, rolly bell, and large booty..you are gonna be gone sooner than later!

If you have any great new exercise ideas, or things that you love...let me know.

Our big boy

Our little Grahamio is growing so fast! While we were home, he out grew all of his clothes and moved up a size in diapers. He is such a smiley boy right now, and I can't get enough of it. He is always so excited to wake up in the mornings and practice his smiles:) He has been sleeping much better lately, and I must say it is so nice (cant wait for sleeping through the night). He went to his two month doc appointment Monday and he weighs 12lb 2oz now... chubba wubba considering he started out at 6lb 10oz. Here are just a few more picts from our trip to Utah.

Happy New Year!

Where to begin....

Ive attempted to finish this post 3 times now..I swear something always comes up when I try to blog. Oh well enjoy the pictures at least, and ignore the randomness.
Well, we finally arrived back in Cheyenne last night after a great trip home to Utah. We had been gone for 17 days, yes I repeat 17 days! Although, the time flew by so fast that it sure didnt seem long at all. Ive got so many pictures I don't know where to start. We spent the first week at the Moultries where Grahamo got to meet his uncles, aunt, and cousins-it was so great! The girls snuggled him up, and it was so sweet to see them love on him. We all filled up the house, and it was great to all be together. Its hard now because we all live away, so getting together is cherished time. Mid-week I got my galbladder out. It was a little rougher than I thought it would be, but thanks to Grandma Connie and Jes, Graham was in good hands for the day...leaving him was harder than the actual surgery I think:) They told me my galbladder was pretty bad, and it was a good thing it was gone. I hope that for the next pregnancy this will help. (Feel free to say a prayer in advance just in case). Jared got to play ball everyday with his brothers, which makes him very happy, and in turn makes me very happy as well. We had a few family parties and a great time!

We blessed Graham Brett Moultrie December 20. It was such a special experience, one that I truely didnt understand until I became a parent. My dad told Jared that it was the closest to Heaven that you would get. I felt a variety of feelings listening to Jared. As Jared spoke, I was so proud of my little boy, and knew how very special he was. I felt comfort and peace knowing how much his Father in Heaven loved him, and how he trusted us to be good examples and parents to Graham. I am so grateful for the priesthood, and for the testifying power of the spirit. Jared did such a wonderful job, it was truely inspired and he is an unbelievable man. I feel very blessed to be his wife, and am so glad Graham has him as a father.

We all had brunch at the Elite Hall following church. Not gonna lie, it was not my favorite place at all to host an event. When we showed up to set up the night before, the place smelled like smoke, and it was not what I had pictured. All in all it ended up just fine...but anyone in the future who is thinking of renting it...think again. Thanks so much to our family and friends who came to support Graham.
We spent our second week in Paradise. Oh it was so great to be home, and to take advantage of my wonderful mother:) This lady loves being a Grandma, and let us on more than one occasion have a little nap while she watched Graham. It was so nice having family around, not only for the extra help..but for the company as well. There is always something to do, or someone to visit with at home. Thanks Kate and Stace to for watching Graham as well. Jared, Brett, and Cam all went horseriding in -5 degree weather..crazy I know, but they had a great time. I made sure Jared was dressed nice and warm. We had the best Christmas! It is funny how you get so excited for your kids presents, even more than your own. Although, I was pretty excited about my new laptop. I surprised Jared with a new, ridiculous watch. He was shocked, and totally deserved it. Thanks KC for all your help!!!
